reducing the bad cholesterol in the blood green tea improves the ration of good
cholesterol to bad cholesterol.
Blood Pressure:
Regular consumption of green tea may help to reduce cholesterol.
Tooth Decay:
Studies suggest that the chemical antioxidant “catechin” can help in destroying
bacteria and viruses that cause throat infections, dental caries
Depression:
Theanine is an amino acid naturally found in tea leaves, provides a relaxing
and tranquilizing effect and be a great benefit to tea drinkers
Anti-Viral and Anti-Bacterial:
Tea catechins are strong
antibacterial and antiviral agents which make them effective for treating many
diseases from influenza to cancer
Skincare: Because
of antioxidant and anti-inflammatory activities tea apparently helps with
wrinkles and sign of aging.
Cancer Prevention:
According to National cancer institute, the polyphenol in tea has been shown to
decrease tumor growth. In countries where green tea consumptions is high ,cancer rates tend to be lower ,but it
is impossible to know for sure whether it is the green tea that prevents cancer
in these particular populations or other life style factors.

slower the growth of skin cells due to psoriasis and dandruff.
Effect on working Memory: Enhancing brain’s cognitive functions, particularly
working memory
Alzheimer’s: Tea
might help to reduce the risk of Alzheimer’s disease.
