While popular with the local people, their shop doesn't churn enough to fund their wanderlust. What's the formula for a couple to fund their vacations? The couple saves Rs 300 every day. They pool all their savings at the end of three years and borrow some from the bank and go out into the world. They return to the tea shop to repay their debt when they return. And then process goes on.Posters from every country they've visited are framed and hung on the wall. Throughout their shop they even showed bills from all the countries.

What is the point of pursuing your dreams if you don't have someone to share it with you, says Vijayan, referring to his wife Mohana who joined him 40 years ago. Excitation lights up her face as Mohana describes her most fun travels. "I was very happy when we first traveled abroad. I never thought of a life like this belonging to a very poor family.Later I too became fascinated with the journeys with him. Of the countries we visited, Switzerland is my favorite, "she says.
