Ranchi's B Com Chaiwala

The only way to be truly satisfied is to do what you believe is great work.  By Steve Jobs

Meet B com chaiwala, a 22-year-old from Chaibasa, Singhbhum district, who earns a modest bit of money by serving people ‘Chai' so he doesn't have to beg his parents for money. Despite coming from a well-built family, he chose to do it. “I don't believe any job should be classified as large or small,” he says. He is currently doing his M.Com at Gossaner College.

According to him, the company ‘MBA Chaiwala,' which was founded in 2016, influenced him much. As a result, he named his stall ‘Bcom Chaiwala.'

B.Com Chaiwala, on the other hand, has kept his tea stand a secret from his father, a bank manager, and mother. “My parents will not simply accept this,” he replies, refusing to expose his identity. As a result, I haven't informed them. However, once I am successful, I will not hesitate to tell them that it was me (B.Com Chaiwala).”

He wasn't always looking to operate a "tea stall." He planned to start a food company after completing his B.Com at Ranchi's Gossaner College. “My ambition of starting a food business required a significant amount of capital, which I could not afford. As a result, I figured, why not start with ‘Chai?'” he says. In October 2020, he opened a stall in Kokar, where he visits practically every evening for almost three hours.

His trip was not without its setbacks, as his plan was initially met with opposition. “When I first started running the stall, people on the street gave me strange stares. But I was constantly focused on the motivation I got in any form,” he explains. People eventually become his friends and admire his ideas as a result of his hard work and dedication.
