Darjeeling is a scenic town in the Indian state of West Bengal, situated amidst the slopes of the Lesser Himalayas and coated by emerald green tea plantations. Kanchenjunga (also known as Kangchenjunga) is the world's third highest mountain and dominates over this lovely town. This is the ideal location to enjoy the magnificence of two huge mountains, Mount Everest and Mount Kanchenjunga, combine.It is 11 kilometres from Darjeeling town and may be accessed by jeep or on foot through Chowrasta, Alubari, or Jorebangla, then climbing the incline to the summit.

Padmaja Naidu  Himalayan Zoological Park 

Padmaja Naidu Himalayan Zoological Park, which opened in 1958, has long been a popular tourist destination in Darjeeling. It was founded with the goal of preserving and studying Himalayan fauna. Padmaja Naidu (daughter of Sarojini Naidu) was the governor of West Bengal State at one time, and the park is named after her. In the year 2014, this zoo was also awarded the renowned "Earth Heroes" award. The Royal Bank of Scotland gives this award out every year. This zoo was picked from over 300 zoos throughout the world because it has successfully maintained and cared for Himalayan and Alpine animals.

Snow Leopard Breeding Center

It is part of the Padmaja Himalayan Zoological Park and is located on the outskirts of Darjeeling!!One of the endangered species is the snow leopard. Attempts are being undertaken all across the world to confine endangered species. Darjeeling's Snow Leopard Breeding Centre is dedicated to the breeding of snow leopards.
