India is the world 's biggest Democracy. We have the freedom to select our own leader in our constitution. Our constitution is one of the world's best constitution that has provided fundamental rights  “Right to equality” under Articles 14,15,16,17,18 of the constitution. Our constitution guarantees fair treatment to all Indian people in the same circumstances regardless of religion, ethnicity, caste, sex or place of birth.

Guddamma's landslide win in ULB poll in Kampali, Karnataka proved this. Guddamma,29 who was a seller of roadside tea, lives in the colony of local migrant workers. She is a mother of two children and her husband is an automobile driver. She runs tea stall on the roadside and has now made it to the Municipal Council in Kampali Town. ULB election results are out in November and she defeated her rival by a 431-vote margin.

Reacting to her victory, she said she would work hard to provide the local tribal group colonies with basic facilities and good education for children. She was shocked by her victory and said "She never thought that she would enter the politics or win in the election"
