If you’re looking for a breather from your hectic work schedule and experience the peace and serenity of the mountains just over the weekend, Nag Tibba is the trek for you. The Nag Tibba trip, also known as the 'Mountain of the Serpent,' begins northeast of Mussoorie, at a height of 3,048 meters, on the foothills of the Garhwal Himalayan peaks. Locals have been offering prayers (puja) to the Snake God (Nag Devta) at this summit for centuries, demonstrating its sacredness. Their cattle are protected from snake bites by the Snake God, they think.

The Nag Tibba walk begins at Pantwari village and travels via Mussoorie. Pantwari is surrounded by a number of attractive small villages, including Bandsari village, Kori village, and others. The hike continues down to the villages of Devalsari and Thatyur from here. The distance between Pantwari to the peak of Nag Tibba is 8 kilometers. Trekkers will stroll through ancient forests of deodar and oak, which are home to a variety of unusual wildlife. This is a hike that will remain etched in the minds of both adrenaline junkies and serene nature lovers for the rest of their lives.

Your Trek Leader will decide whether to descend from Bhatwadi or retrace the route back to Panthwari based on the group's fitness, weather conditions, and snow.

Nag Tibba's summit day is a long one. You begin descending to the village of Bhatwadi as soon as you reach the crest. This journey is breathtakingly beautiful. You arrive at Moriana, a clearing with a stream on one side and a pair of shepherds' huts on the other, about an hour into your descent. Forests encircle this location. It's a beautiful location for photos!

The trail then continues along the stream, passing through a wonderful forest cover. After an hour or two, you arrive at farms and are disappointed that such a lovely trail is coming to an end.
